eNable Lowell
eNable Lowell is a student run, volunteer organization stationed at the University of Massachusetts Lowell (UML). Our members design assistive devices for children with upper limb differences using SolidWorks and 3D printing. We pride ourselves in assembling an amazing group of volunteers with backgrounds in engineering, business, biology, biotechnology, exercise physiology, and more.
We started as a small self-funded group of friends printing hands off the internet. With the support of UML's DifferenceMaker program and private donations we have grown to serve more recipients, design our own devices, and help to start similar groups in the region.
We aim to create and provide free devices for all kinds of needs, not just limb differences.
