Meet some of our recipients
xavienh
Our group has designed multiple devices for Xavienh, including a scooter device, football device, and a pheonix hand. We are currently working on assistive devices to help him play volleyball and basketball. It is always exciting to help children like Xavienh that are passionate about having fun through sports and other activities!

arti
eNable members designed a bike device for Arti using different materials including 3D printed plastic along with PVC in order to provide Arti with the right grip for riding his bicycle. The PVC is covered with soft material that is easy to grip and the extended design means that Arti can reach both handlebars comfortably.

layna
Our group met Layna at Helping Hands in 2019. She was interested in the Unlimbited Arm device, so one of our members worked on the device to customize the size and style to Layna's preferences. By the time we saw Layna again at a Helping Hands event in January 2020, we were able to give her the fully finished device. She wanted the device to be rainbow colored, so one of our artistic engineers painted the beautiful design shown in the picture below!
LiamOur group met with Liam for the first time in 2016. He really wanted a device to help him shooting a basket, so we made him the "Spock Hand". Since then, we've also been able to give him the baseball hand device and he has been so much help to our group with testing out and giving feedback on our devices.

EMILYOur group was put into contact with Emily after her family saw an article about Craig and Lillie. Emily and her family are from Germany and were visiting the US when we got to meet them. We were able to give Emily two devices (one for each hand) along with a Swim Fin device that we painted to look like a mermaid.
